How and When will my Item(s) be Delivered?
You can locate shipping details on the product page such as shipping lead-time, shipping charge (FREE, To be quoted, Flat Freight Delivery Charge, and Calculated Shipping which is displayed at Checkout), as well as the shipping method (Freight or Ground), and if the product requires any assembly.

Ground Delivery
Ground Delivery is available for smaller products. These will be shipped out via UPS, USPS, or FedEx. Your smaller item(s) will be unloaded from the truck and brought to the front door or left near the front of the home or business. Please allow transit time from once an item has been shipped to the time it will be delivered (1 to 7 business days).

Freight Delivery
Orders over 75 lbs. will generally be shipped via Freight.

Freight delivery is different than standard UPS, FedEx or US Mail. Our standard freight delivery service is curbside. If threshold /inside delivery is needed please contact our showroom and note that additional charges may apply.

Freight handlers are not authorized to perform any assembly services nor can they put it in the space of your choice.

For residential deliveries, you will be contacted by the shipping carrier to schedule a delivery appointment. Most companies offer appointment windows (usually 2-4 hours) between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm EDT, Monday through Friday.

If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need several people to help move it to the final destination.

Shipping from Hawaii and Puerto Rico

When we receive an order from Hawaii or Puerto Rico an email will be sent to you with a separate shipping quote. Only after you have approved and paid for the shipping surcharge we will move forward with shipping your order.

If the shipping rate surcharge is not approved or paid for we will 100% refund your card and cancel your order.

Galtech Limited Warranty Policy

UMBRELLA FRAMES / BASES

Galtech market umbrellas and bases are warranted for a period of 1 year from the original date of consumer purchase.

All auto tilt, deluxe auto tilt, cantilever and SR series deluxe commercial umbrellas are warranted for 2 years from original date of consumer purchase.
The extended 2 year warranty applies to the following models:

Auto Tilt: 736,737,738,779,789,936,986
Cantilever: 887,897
Deluxe Commercial: 722,762,732,782,792

Verification of the date of consumer purchase is required for product to qualify under Galtech’s limited warranty policy.

Galtech International warrants that these products shall be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal and reasonable use and proper assembly as follows:

What is covered:

Warping, splitting or rotting of wood frame poles
Rusting, discoloring of metal parts or bases (surface must not be compromised)
Broken tilt mechanisms, broken cables, broken cranks

What is not covered:

DAMAGE CAUSED FROM WIND CONDITIONS ARE NOT COVERED UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCES.
Damage indicative of wind include broken ribs and bent aluminum poles.
Replacement of warranty items will be determined upon factory discretion.
Only items designated as “commercial umbrellas” will be warranted in commercial application.

Items with the “Galtech Contract” logo are deemed to be commercial umbrellas. Cantilever and auto tilt umbrellas will not be warranted in a commercial application, no exceptions.

CANOPIES
Covers are warranted against loss of color or strength from normal exposure conditions for the following

duration:
Sunbrella: 5 years from date of consumer purchase
Suncrylic: 1 year from date of consumer purchase
Thatch: 1 year from date of consumer purchase
