Keep your umbrella functioning like new with genuine Bambrella Replacement Stays, specifically engineered for the Levante and Sirocco bamboo collections. These stays (also known as struts) are the essential structural links that provide the leverage to open and support your umbrella canopy.
Just like our ribs, these stays are crafted from 100% solid laminated Moso bamboo, offering a sustainable, high-strength alternative to traditional wood or plastic components.
It is easy to mix up frame parts, but getting the right one is key to a successful repair:
The Rib: This is the long bamboo arm that runs the full length from the top hub to the edge of the fabric. It spreads the canopy out.
The Stay (Strut): This is the shorter support arm. It attaches to the rib at one end and the sliding runner (the part that moves up and down the pole) at the other. If your umbrella won’t stay open or feels “limp,” you likely need a replacement stay.

Because the Levante and Sirocco lines come in multiple shapes (Square, Round, Rectangular) and various sizes, stays are not “one size fits all.” To ensure the stay matches your specific frame, please measure an existing stay from end to end before ordering. Even a half-inch difference can prevent your umbrella from locking into the open position or cause uneven tension on the ribs.
