Replacement braded wire for Bambrella side wind umbrellas, compatible with Hurricane, Levante, Santa Ana and Sirocco Models cantilever umbrellas.

Steps to follow to reattach wire.

The canopy should be cleated in, so it is fixed in place. Use the beige cord directly below the center of the canopy – please make sure cord is inserted into cleat prior to beginning rest of process. The umbrella can stay in place during the whole process once cleated.

Remove the metal cap (3 screws) at the bottom of the hub.
Release more old wire out of crank box by cranking the winch towards “closed” while at the same time pulling down on the end of the wire (the wire needs some tension on it to
release the winch lock).
Underneath the metal cap there is a rectangular metal bar with two holes screwed (2 screws) into the
bottom of the hub that spans the hole in the hub. Unscrew the bar.
Push wire down thru the hub. Now run wire down through one hole and back up through the other hole
leaving a one-inch tail of wire. The loop should be tight against the bottom of the bar. Screw the bar
back into the hub sandwiching the tail of the wire between the bar and the bottom of the hub and curl
the excess wire around the edge of the interior of the hub. See attached picture of wire running through bar.
Replace metal cap.This doesn’t happen very often but we suggest you crank the canopy open just until the hub touches the tube the wire comes down through. It is not necessary to crank overly tight.
